Bridal Wedding Day Tips

It’s almost your wedding day! By now, you’ve probably realized there are a million little things to keep track of while planning your big wedding day. With so many moving parts, the last thing you want is to forget something crucial and end up borrowing your bridesmaid’s lipstick (that’s three shades off) or begging the venue staff for safety pins.

An “emergency kit” is a total bridal wedding day essential, but once you step out of your suite and head to the ceremony, these are the must-have items to keep close at hand:

1. Extra Bobby Pins + Travel-Sized Hairspray

Whether you’re rocking an updo or flowing curls, a few rogue strands are bound to make an appearance once the dancing starts. Keep a couple of bobby pins and a mini hairspray handy and you’ll thank yourself during your “Party Rock Anthem” moment.

2. Breath Mints

You’ll be chatting, laughing, and greeting guests all day long. Choose mints over gum so you don’t have to worry about chewing or where to toss it later. From a photographer’s perspective, chewing gum does show up on photos and you will have awkward candid photos!

3. Perfume & Deodorant

With all those hugs, you’ll want to stay fresh. Bring a mini deodorant for a quick touch-up before the ceremony and reception, and a travel-sized perfume that fits easily in your clutch.

4. Pain Reliever

Whether it’s sore feet from heels or a headache from excitement, having aspirin (or your go-to painkiller) can save the day and your smile.

5. Tissues

Let’s be real: tears will happen. Keep a few tissues tucked away for those emotional moments, just remember to dab, not wipe, to save your makeup! You can also bring q-tips if you don’t want to smear your eye makeup!

6. Lipstick, Eyeliner & Mascara

After happy tears and countless kisses, you’ll want a quick refresh. No need to bring your full makeup bag, just the essentials for touch-ups.

7. Fashion Tape

If you’re wearing a strapless or low-cut gown, a little double-sided tape is a lifesaver for keeping everything in place and photo-ready.

8. Safety Pins

Bustle issues, broken straps, or even buttons gone rogue, safety pins are the unsung heroes of every wedding day. Toss a few in your clutch just in case.

9. Stain Remover Wipes or Pen

White dress, colorful cocktails, and enthusiastic hugs, what could go wrong? Keep a stain remover pen or wipe nearby for those “oops” moments, so you can get back to celebrating without a trace.

A little preparation goes a long way! Pack these small but mighty essentials, and you’ll be ready for whatever your wedding day throws your way, from happy tears to epic dance moves!
