Here’s an easy checklist that I print out or have it saved on my Notes app to remind myself not to forget anything when preparing for a client’s wedding.

Event specific info:

Every wedding is unique, so make sure you have a copy of:

☐ Copy of timeline, also share this with your second photographer and go over details of what each of you will be capturing
☐ Copy of contract
☐ Contact information for other vendors, especially the wedding planner

☐ Multiple camera bodies
☐ Extra camera batteries
☐ Multiple flashes

☐ Extra chargers
☐ Flash triggers
☐ Lenses of various lengths
☐ Light stands or tripods
☐ Film (if applicable)
☐ Ample memory cards

Self-care:

☐ Extra outfit – you never know

☐ Extra pair of comfortable shoes (for later in the reception)

☐ Chapstick
