There are weddings that feel beautiful…and then there are weddings that feel effortlessly timeless. Shannon and Ben’s celebration at the Trump’s National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes was exactly that: classic, refined, and filled with the kind of joy that makes photographing a day feel like a privilege.
I was honored to have captured Ben and Shannon’s rooftop proposal the year prior in Los Angeles. They chose me to photograph their wedding day exactly a year later. We started at a nearby hotel for getting ready details of Shannon and her bridesmaids. Ben was also getting ready in another room with his groomsmen. The bride wore a gorgeous gown from Blush Bridal Couture and the grooms wore a tux from Friar Tux.

Shannon gave her bridesmaids personalized jewelry to wear with their outfits.

A Classic, All-White Floral Dream
Shannon and Ben chose an all-white rose palette for her florals by Haus and Company, and it couldn’t have suited the venue more. From her bouquet to the arrangements lining the ceremony aisle, the soft layers of white roses brought a sense of pure elegance to every corner of the day. Paired with the clean architecture and ocean views of Rancho Palos Verdes, the entire aesthetic felt fresh, modern, and romantic.

The Ceremony With an Ocean View
One of the loveliest parts of a Rancho Palos Verdes wedding is the scenery, and Shannon and Ben made the most of it. Their ceremony overlooked rolling greens and ocean air, giving guests an unforgettable backdrop as they exchanged vows. Every moment felt open, serene, and full of light.

Blush Bridesmaids & Black Tuxedos
The bridesmaids wore soft blush pink dresses that added the perfect hint of color without overwhelming the classic palette. The subtle tones looked beautiful against the white roses and created a dreamy contrast that photographed perfectly.
Meanwhile, Ben and his groomsmen kept things timeless in black tuxedos and bow ties. The look was sharp, elevated, and so fitting for the sophisticated setting. Together with Shannon’s all-white bridal look, the entire wedding party came together in a palette that will look just as lovely decades from now.

Portraits at Golden Hour at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes
This golf club wedding gave us so many beautiful places for portraits. From sunlit pathways to coastal views, Shannon and Ben were surrounded by natural beauty the entire day. Their golden hour portraits were especially magical, filled with soft light, gentle breeze, and that just-married glow that can’t be staged.

A Joyful and Cultural Celebration
The reception blended modern elegance with heartfelt, Chinese culture celebration. White roses, candlelight, soft blush accents, and a packed dance floor made the whole evening feel intimate yet lively. Shannon and Ben are one of those couples who radiate warmth, and every part of their night reflected that energy.

A Timeless Wedding to Remember
Shannon and Ben’s Golf Club wedding was the perfect mix of classic style and genuine emotion. From the all-white roses to the blush bridesmaids and black-tie look, every detail came together beautifully, and it was an honor to capture each moment for them.
